question about IVF protocols?

i guess from all the research i have been doing, i assumed that i would be on BCP and then Lupron, but my RE said that he will go right from BCP to another medication (that i can't remember the name of of course, it started with a G?), because im ooooooold and he doesn't want to suppress too much or something. anyone else have this going on, or know what kind of protocol he is having me on then?

i'm supposed to start on bcp as soon as AF gets here, but she's taking her sweet time....he said he will do a water sono after that, can anyone tell me what to expect?

i'm already getting so much from being on this board, even as a lurker :)
