random question about ivf

Ok, so I feel like I sound silly asking this question, but I finally am so sparked by curiosity. I just went in for my first ivf, the dr, did the maturing of eggs, ... like normal, and removed the eggs. They counted a total of 11 on each side and removed the 11 on each side.. and so from 22 the numbers went down into the ET which was this morning... but, I have see so many posts about ivf #1, ivf #2, what if your frozen stash dont make it.. or for us we have 2. What then, is that the end.. Do they have ways of making my system produce more eggs, or do we starting looking elsewhere. I do not know why I am stressing about this today, I should be so happy because for one moment I am pregnant.. but April 8th is so far away and i have see too many AF's before.. I just want to know my backups..

Congratulations on so many eggs and for your current ET - I hope things go well for you.

So, if I understand you - you had 2 transplanted today and you have 2 to freeze.

Well, that happens - just because they retrieved 22 doesn't mean all of them were mature or that they will continue to grow properly.
