I could explain it all, but here's the protocol my RE's nurse sent me just today. It is medically easier on our bodies, but it is longer and just as complicated. I've posted it on our 'fridge and will have to look at it every day to make sure I am doing the right thing.
A little about my journey:

Got my calendar, updating the chart. It seems like most people use lupron? I'm only doing bcp and testosterone gel. BRS 123 Good luck with your supression check.
I went to acupuncture yesterday. I had gone with one of my IUIs, and at the urging of a friend and my mom, and the RE's office suggests it as well, I decided to do it again. It is so relaxing which is strange because you look down at your belly and it is full of needles, 5 of which have electrical cords attached, and you're under a heat lamp. I am not a fan of the needles in the wrists, feet, and on the ears, but once they're in its no problem. My acupuncturist told me repeatedly that she has 100% success with IVF patients. I kept saying "I hope so for me" and at the end of the session (after the cupping) she chastised me for talking negatively. Why hope so when she's telling me it is guaranteed to work? When DH got home and I told him I need two treatments a week for 6 weeks, he got really serious and said we can't afford it. It pains him to deny me anything, especially something that could help so much, but our credit cards are maxed out paying for the IVF and we have no extra in the month to pay for $720. Even though I'm in my mid 30s, I decided to humble myself a bit and emailed my mom to ask for help. She is so adamant that I do the acupuncture, so I asked for it as an early christmas gift. What do you guys think?
Fay, I am a teacher too, and I don't know how I could do a fresh cycle during the school year. When things got growing, I was in the clinic every morning for follie checks and ED2 levels. Not to mention how bloated and painful it was (OHSS) I did my fresh cycle in June. FET will be easier on my schedule. I think a leave of absence is in order. I have found school admin to be really understanding of my reproductive stuff these past few years.
