The nurse that you could legally sell the Menopur since I private paid for it, but I have no idea how to find an avenue to sell it.

I am so surprised she told you that. My RE said it is good for a year as long as it is refrigerated. I used my left-over follistim from an IUI last winter to do my IVF in June and did fine.

Brs, I'm on a TTCAM ivillage message board and one of the ladies there who got her bfp mailed me her extra gannirelix shot out of the kindness of her heart. Maybe you can find a friend going through this who could use the menopur.

Amy, don't worry. I'll update it. GL with your stims!

Welcome Tallgal. I am so sorry for your loss. I had a m/c last year after an IUI so I know the pain. If you need it, come by the TTCAM message board. I am big FX for your current cycle though! Sounds like you will do really well.

Brs, GL with your embryo transfer today!!! Let us know how you're feeling. Will you be bedresting for a few days? Did you get 2 to transfer? Any to freeze?

Kim, how are you doing, hon? You're getting closer!

AFM, I am off BCP and on lupron now. Its giving me nausea and headaches, but I'm staying a little zen about it. I have "turned over a new leaf" about staying calm and if not fully positive, then at least neutral. This is big for me since I am naturally a huge worrier.

Transfer went well today. We transferred 2 embyos and they will call me to tell me what I have to freeze tomorrow. My lower back does not like this bed rest stuff. They want me to do this for 48 hrs, so still about a day and a half to go. Good luck to everyone. Anyone have any ideas on how to make PIO shots better. They r brutal this time!

Several years ago an old nurse (I'm talkin' in her 70s) told me the key to making a flu shot (IM in the arm) not hurt is to let the arm hang down. It opens up the muscle fibers and allows the needle to slip right between the striations. I used that technique with the PIO and had ZERO pain. I was amazed. Its harder to do, but I found that if I bent over the side of the bed (our bed is high) and released both legs so that my knees kinda rested on the frame just under the box spring. I also had a pillow under my belly and I was gripping one in front of me. Probably looked rediculous, but like I said, felt absolutely nothing.
