So happy for all you guys.
My ultrasound went well on Friday.
So excited to see new posts.
I saw my OB at 8 weeks. I adore her, but her new nurse is less than kind. She said that because I was an RE patient I am spoiled by so many u/s. OB understands me and did one at 8 weeks anyway. So now a week later, my symptoms suddenly went away Thursday morning. After 3 solid weeks of constant nausea and insomnia. Of course I panicked. Rather than calling my OB (her nurse is mean) I emailed my RE and begged her to do another u/s. Its too bad that feeling good again was a bad thing to me. Love my RE!
I went in this morning full of fear. But there was my LO, "big" (2cm) and with a very fast and steady hb of 181bpm. More magical than that - we saw him/her move for the first time. S/he flexed his/her arms and head. Amazing.
9 weeks and counting.
.
I have my last appointment with my RE tomorrow. So nervous and excited to see the ultrasound again.
GOOD news!! I was also positive for Strep B....But was tested for it MUCH later in PG (I think between 28-30 weeks).... I am allergic to penicillin...so I received IV Vancomycin during delivery..but since she SHOT out of me 1 hour after getting to hopsital and after 10 minutes of pushing.....it never took effect! No harm done though..since she spent NO time in the Birth Canal!
