sorcet - I hope your frsotie is just a late implanter.  I've heard that FET's can take a little longer to implant. Good luck with your beta tomorrow.

AFM, the only progress I've had since my last appt is that my E2 has risen.  It went from 131 to 323.  The nurse said I might just be a slow responder. My u/s this morning was literally 3 minutes long so I knew it wasn't good.   I still didn't have anything bigger than 12mm after 7 nights of stims.  I'm having a really hard time waiting all day to find out if I get to keep going or not.  I ended up calling in to work because I was so upset.  At least my next apointment is on Saturday so I don't have to miss work if I get upset.  Thankfully, I get to keep going at least 3 more days.  I'm supposed to take my Mom out for her birthday on Saturday.  I hope things go well so I don't have to force a happy face.

My RE didn't increase my dose but they did add in the Ganirelix starting tonight.  The u/s report says 2-4 follies < 12mm on each side and they did actually measure 2 follies even though they were less than 12(10.6 and 11.6).  I guess I feel better knowing someting got measured finally.

Taressa, all crossables are crossed for you and I'm really hoping you get a nice surprise when your results come in!!!!

AFM - second beta was 1497. It doubled!! I have to get a third on Friday and then US mon or tues. I think they are trying to cause a nervous breakdown with all thus testing!!!

Tess - Congrats on the great 2nd beta!

Sorcet - Good luck with your beta today.  KUP.

Caryn - Good luck with your ET tomorrow.

AFM - I'm a little nervous that something is off.  I have been temping and my temps have been low, but I had a high temp this morning.  Also, I had a lot of CM the last couple of days but nothing today.  I don't really think I've ovulated because I didn't have any mature follies yet.  I'm just wondering what could cause this.  I know probably I can't rely on the usual fertility signs in a medicated cycle, but you know me and my worrying...  I did start Ganirelix last night.  Is this a side effect of that?  My LH and P4 were both low yesterday, but the on Sunday my LH was 11.  Maybe I had a surge between then and yesterday.   Should I call my nurse?

I'm going to stay positive until my next appt.  I'm just worried that my estrogen has dropped because of the lack of cm and the higher temp today. My RE only scheduled an E2 test for Saturday(no P4 or LH).  I'm assuming this is because I'm on the Ganirelix now which should prevent those levels from rising.  Will someone tell me that I'm an idiot for temping during IVF and that I don't have anything to worry about?

Taressa ~ I know you don't have much hope for today's beta but I've still got everything crossed you get a big surprise! I will be taking a valium for ET tomorrow...never taken it before. Hoping it makes me nice and mellow.

Christina ~ You had a nice E2 rise =) I also did not have any follies over 12mm (mine were 8-11mm) at my 2nd ultrasound after 7 days of stims. My E2 was 397, so very similar to yours. I think you'll be SHOCKED at how much things change at each appointment from here on out. My CM and temps were ALL OVER THE PLACE during my fresh cycle so please don't read anything into them. The meds they have you on will control everything. I can't wait to hear about your u/s on Saturday!!!

Tess ~ WOO-HOO for a great 2nd beta!!! Fun that you get to have an u/s early next week. My RE makes me wait until I'm 7 weeks. Please KUP!

AFM (Caryn) ~ Starting to get really excited and a bit nervous. The only thing I'm nervous about really is the thaw. In 24 hours I'll be PUPO =) I might just have to take a Tylenol PM tonight *LOL*

Thanks Caryn.  I hope you're right about not reading too much into temps and cm.  It's just that my cm tends to correlate with my E2 pretty well  and I've had a bunch the last few days.  When I woke up with the high temp and nothing this morning.  I freaked out a little.  I did end up calling my RE's nurse to see what they think.  I'm still waiting for a call back.

I have done some googling and it is common to have a dip in E2 after starting Ganirelix and that it should come back up and shouldn't affect follie growth.  It did also say that I might need more stims to counteract the ganirelix.  We'll see what they say.  I am starting to be uncomfortable on my left side so hopefully that means things are growing in there.  I hope the right side catches up a little too.  I'm feeling a little bit on that side but not as much as the left.   I'd like to get a few from each side.

I hope your thaw goes well tomorrow.  How soon before the transfer do they thaw the embryo? Definitely KUP on how it goes.  I'm so excited for you!

Teressa ~ CRAP! I'm sorry hon. How are you doing?

Christina ~ I didn't know that ganirelix could cause a dip in your E2...interesting. Maybe that's exactly why you saw the temp and cm changes. Hopefully you see some serious business happening in there at your next u/s =) Honestly I don't know how long before my transfer they thaw. I think they like to watch them for an hour or so and they need to leave time to thaw additional embryos if the previous ones don't make it so I would guess with me being the first transfer of the day they would thaw pretty early tomorrow morning. Eeek!
