Taresa, AF is always a hag, showing up when she's least expected. I hope you need just a few days on the estrace to get a nice thick liing.

Caryn - how did your Lupron shot go this evening?

AFM - First Lupron shot was no problem. I've been through so many rounds of IUI + injectibles that it's almost second nature. It's the thought of what we just started that's a bit unnerving. It's so worth it though! I am having a little pulling around my L ovary, I sure hope the BCP are doing what they're supposed to be doing! I'd hate to O and mess up things now.

How is everyone doing?

I've got the holy batman of headaches right now, I'm thinking it's a combo of the lupron and my sinuses. :smileysad: So far, that seems to be the only s/e I've had. I take my last BCP tomorrow, I'm guessing my lupron AF won't take too long to arrive since I've already had a bit of spotting here and there.

Booo for headaches ! I hope AF arrives in a timely fashion !

My AF started Sunday yesterday I started esterace again. But AF is still soo heavy I'm not sure what's going on :smileysad: I feel like between that and being up with a screaming 2 yr old all night I probably didn't get much of it. I'm hoping my linin is ok Monday bc we really can't pull another $1000 out for another u/s blah

Hi, I just had a frozen embryo transfer yesterday of a day 6 blast.  We have an 18 month old from a fresh cycle.  This embryo was the only one remaining from that cycle.  The transfer went well, they said that the embryo looked good, I think I remember hearing AA something.  Anyways, I have a very embarassing question.  My RE told me not to have sex.  I have no plans to, but last night I had an orgasm in my sleep.  It happens from time to time, with no stimulation.  So now I am worried that I ruined my chances.  I know there is nothing I can do about it, but I just thought I would post hear to see if anyone could give me any hope.  Good luck to all the other IVFer's out there.  My HCG is scheduled for Sept 1.

Lisa ~ So sorry your getting horrible headaches =( It seems like that is the most common complaint from Lupron. Are you happy to almost be done with BCPs?

Taresa ~ Sorry to hear you were up with your LO all night, that is so hard. It seems like your lining builds well so I'd try not to worry about not getting enough of the Estrace. Did you say your u/s's are $1000?!?!

C ~ I think one of the reasons for no sex is that with them inserting the cathedar in your cervix the chance for infection is a little greater from sex because they may have caused some bleeding and such when doing the transfer. I don't think there is any solid research that shows that orgasm hinders implantation. Best of luck on your beta on 9/1, KUP!

AFM (Caryn) ~ Lupron started on Monday and I got some mild SE's for about 12 hours but nothing since. Wondering if the SE's will pick up after I stop the BCPs tomorrow. CD1 for the FET is a week from today =)

I will definitely POA before my first HCG, I just can't help it.  It was a day 6 blast, so it should be a little faster to settle in produce some HCG.  I feel for you girls on lupron.  It felt so much harder this time.  It made me angry and hungry.  Feeling much better now that I'm done with that.  My RE has me using crinone instead of PIO.  Anyone else using that?  What does PUPO stand for again?

Ok, I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this cycle.  I stopped my BCPs on Sunday, and they told me to call today if I didn't have AF yet.  So, of course, I don't have AF yet so I called.  The first thing the nurse asked was if I had gotten the results of my u/s last week, which I said no one called me so I assumed everything was ok.  She didn't say anything about the u/s results and just told me to come in for b/w tomorrow.

Now I'm nervous that maybe my u/s wasn't great.  The tech that day told me she didn't see any cysts so I figured that was why no one called me.  I'm really going to cry if I have to delay this IVF because I have a cyst or somthing and they didn't call to tell me before I stopped BCPs.  Maybe the u/s was fine and she just saw that no one called me about it, who knows.  I was feeling good up until now.  Tomorrow's b/w will probably suck, and I'll be stuck waiting another flipping cycle.

Is anyone else in the group TTC # 1 still or am I the only one?

Taresa ~ WOW, those are some pricey u/s's. I've been to two RE's and have been shocked with the different prices for some stuff like that. RE #1 charged $415 per u/s and #2 charges $210. And #2 has newer and better equipment. Crazy. Hope you'll only need that 1 u/s!!!!

C ~ FUN! I love other POAS addicts =) PUPO=pregnant until proven otherwise. From what I've seen on these boards FETs tend to produce lower beta numbers so don't be surprised if that happens.

Christina ~ Don't let the bad feelings start just yet. This whole process is so anxiety ridden so I know that's hard. I'm sure they just want you in for b/w because AF is being a total B again. If the u/s tech told you things are clear I would guess there's nothing interesting to report from your u/s. I'm sending you all the GO, GO, GO vibes I can muster for this cycle!!! KUP on how things go tomorrow. And yeah...I think most of us are repeat offenders in the TTC arena on this months thread. I know how that would have felt to me {{{HUGS}}} Hope we can still be good support for you though.
