You're right Caryn.  They are triggerring me tonight for a Tuesday ER,  My follies were 20.01, 18.34, and 13.28 today, but E2 went down to 606 from 881 which makes me nervous especially since one of the measurements is smaller than yesterday. At this point, I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get 2 eggs.  I have 2-4 follies less than 12mm on each side, but I don't have any hope that they'll catch up given the drop in E2.  That just can't be a good thing.

proudmama83~ I'm so sorry! If there aren't any sperm tomorrow maybe you can go through ER and have your eggs frozen. Then work with a urologist and try to get some sperm samples from you DH and do a FET in the future? I am so sorry, what a tough situation. Hoping you get surprised tomorrow with some great swimmers!!!

Good luck,
Caryn

Tess ~ Beautiful beta is right! Can't wait to hear about your u/s on Tuesday =)

Christina ~ Sorry I'm late with the pep talk! After 10 days of stims I was ready to trigger but many of my cycle buddies stimmed 2-4 days longer. My guess is that with the size of your follies yesterday they might trigger you today. Did they? Please fill us in when you get a chance.

AFM (Caryn) ~ Couch rest sucks. I'm bored out of my mind. My DH has been an angel and done everything under the sun around the house this weekend. Our DD had dealt with not being able to be picked up and mommy having to lay around better than we anticipated. I'm trying to feel anything that might be implanation...but nothing to speak of really. I am a completed POAS addict but the hcg booster shots (1000unit every 3 days - the last one on Tuesday) they have me on make it very hard to test. I'll start POAS on Wednesday morning and they will be positive from the shots and get lighter every day until Sunday or Monday...and my beta is Monday anyway. Sigh.

Here's today's update.  I had 3 good size follies on the left, 17, 15, and 14, nothing on the right(boo). My E2 was 881 up from 323 on Wednesday.  So I feel good about the E2, just wish that more follies would show for the number.  I would think with that number I could have at least 4.  They want to see me again tomorrow for b/w & u/s.  I'm going to make them spend a little more time looking at righty.  I've had to push on that a few times for them to see it before, so maybe if I push on it tomorrow, they will be able to see a follicle or two hiding.  When they do ER, do they spend a lot of time making sure they get absolutely everything?

How many more days do you stim when they start seeing you every day.  What is the max size follies they trigger at?  I'm starting to feel like I'm going to make to ER, just wish it was with more eggs.  I'm also nervous about them fertilizing.  Originally my RE said they would do standard fertilzation, but with less eggs should we do ICSI?  I'm not sure if the insurance will approve that or not.  From the way I read their criteria you have to have low fertilization from a previous IVF or severe male factor which we don't have.

Caryn - I need some more pep talk about a lot can happen fom here on out.  How many did you have after 10 days of stims?  How many did you think you would get before ER compared to the 12 you actually got?  Is there hope for me to get 1 or 2 more eggs?

Tess - Congrats on the great 3rd beta.  Sounds like you should see a nice healthy bean on Tuesday.  KUP.  Thanks for the reassurance about not feeling much until the end.  I'm just nervous about getting cancelled after each appointment if things aren't going good enough.  Although, I know they have to report cancelled cycles to SART so they probably want to avoid it as much as possible.

Caryn - Congrats on being PUPO!  I'm sorry they didn't label your embryos.  That's not cool.  I defintely see some free storage or something coming your way.  Make them pay girl!  I know you are a POAS girl.  When are you going to start?

I think I've got everyone updated on the chart.  I hope I can add some more dates to my row soon...

Christina - i would kill for an US machine...if only I hadn't spent all our money on IVF!! I didn't feel anything this early on, not until the last few days of stims. I still say slow and steady is the best way to go. Fx for tomorrow!!

Caryn - congrats on being PUPO!! One major hurdle down!! That's so crazy they didnt label the embryos!! You've been paying for storage right? They should give you a discount! When is your beta? Are you a POASer?

AFM - third beta today 3269!!! The nurse told me it was a "beautiful" beta. She said it needs to increase by 66% and mine increased 118%! I am still having little cramps and, this is totally weird but, I feel cramps in my bbs!! I didn't even know you could have cramps there. US Tuesday at 9:15. Now I have to distract myself all weekend!!!

Taressa ~ Happy to hear you're doing ok!  When cycles fail I always just want to move on right away too.

Tess ~ Thanks for the good luck!  My bladder wasn't full enough but only needed another 10oz nd 10 minutes to get to where they needed it.

Christina ~ I always said I wanted a little window installed in my abdomen =)  I could never coorilate the feelings I had with what was actually going on in there.  I am keeping everything crossed that you see some really good things at your appointment tomorrow!!!

AFM (Caryn) ~ PUPO! According to the embryologist our embryo thawed perfectly and is the same quality as before the freeze (4BB). It was fully expanded at the time of transfer. This photo was taken an hour before transfer so it wasn't fully expanded yet. Transfer itself went very smoothly. Now just for the wait. Thanks for all the good wishes...all sticky vibes accepted =)

One piece of annoying news is that this embryo was frozen on day 6 while my three others were frozen on day 5. I asked why this embryo was selected over the 4AB embryo that had been frozen on day 5. The embryologist said that she thought they mis-graded the 4BB we transferred today and it looked better than the 4AB frozen on day 5. She further when on to say that the three frozen on day 5 were frozen in separate straws but not labeled. WTF?!?! Not labeled, what's the purpose in freezing them individually if they aren't labeled? Hopefully we'll never need them but it still sucks. Nothing to do about it though...

Ok, I'm starting to get more nervous about tomorrow's appointment.  I thought I was feeling a lot going on yesterday but now today, I'm not feeling as much.  How do I stay positive and hope for the best when all I can do is imagine the worst?  I need my own u/s machine so I can look everyday :smileyhappy:

Caryn, your post about being at similar place after 7 days of stims and ending up with 12 eggs was very helpful.  While, I don't think I'll end up with 12 eggs, it does give me hope for more.  Thanks so much.  I hope your FET went well today.  I'm looking forward to your update.
