I'm thinking of doing IVF a second time and would like some info on what injectible drugs/protocols you have used.

Hi Maria...I'm Kim. I just started my 2nd IVF cycle yesterday (or at least I started my stimulation meds, already did BCF, Lupron before). My first IVF cycle was in December and I used the Ganerelix protocal with Follistim and Prognyl as my trigger. I had 13 follicles removed at ER and only 2 fertilized and we implanted both and BFN. This time I am doing the Lupron protocol and started that about 12 days ago with baseline Friday and stim shots starting yesterday. I will be doing ER likely April 18-24th. I also had endometriosis and have several adhensions removed in September of 2009. We have been TTC for 3 years in July. Good luck on making your decisions, this is all very tough to get our arms, minds, and everything around. Hope this helps!

It took me 3x to get a BFP and my doctor used Gonal F with Menopur both times for the stimulation. He supressed me with Lupron and we did the long traditional protocal. I responded very well with these medications

It really depends on your blood work and past responses to meds as to what they will give you. Since it has been

IVF#1 March 2010 GonalF, Cetrotide, Menopur.
23 follicles 19 eggs 13 mature 7 fertilized 2 blasts none to freeze. No Pregnancy.

Hi Maria,

my protocol for IVF#2 was BCP's, then 10 days stims with Gonal-F and Menopur. My BCP suppression was not very successful, and I had follicles in aa wide range by day 6, so I started Ganirelix to slow things down from around half way. I got 8 mature follicles, 8 eggs retrieved, 8 were mature and 8 fertilized. We got 7 blasts from this cycle, 2 transferred and 4 frozen. We got pregnant!

We failed IVF#1 due to a progesterone defect (Crinone didn't quite do the job), so IVF#2 we did with PIO shots. After 70 (!) shots I felt like
