Waiting on that Ultrasound

I wish there was a "worried" look for this post. My U/S is next Friday. One week from today. I'll be 6 weeks along. I'm shamelessy asking for positive thoughts and prayers. I really don't want to miscarry. At my age (41) the chances are high but I can't think like that!

So far my progesterone is at 43 (which they want above 30) so that is good. My estrogen rose from 78 to 130, but it needs to be above 300. They have me on Estrace pills and vivelle patches. I go for a blood test Tuesday to make sure that's ok.

thanks for listening.

Annette- I'm waiting also for my 1st ultrasound on 4/1 and am getting very anxious. I have only had 1 chemical pg so I dont know what is "normal" to feel in early pg so every time I feel something different I think the worst. Hang in there and keep positive- Are you having any sympoms yet ? Have you told your family ? Maggie

Hi Maggie,

good luck to you. Your ultrasound is right around the corner.

No, I"m not having any symptoms yet, and this is hard because I had symptoms by now when I was pregnant with Pete (now 15 months). But I was carrying twins then, and my hormone levels were 3x the level what they are now.

I have told my family and some friends. I figure, if I miscarry, then I miscarry. But I'm thinking positive (as much as I can).

Good luck to you and keep me posted! How are your progesterone and estrogen levels? Are they still being monitored. I go back for a blood test on tuesday.

Hi Annette,

I never ask the re what my prog levels are because it causes too much anxiety for me. Im on 1cc of PIO and do Delestrogen shots 2/wk. Have a great weekend and I'll look for your post after the ultrasound. HB vibes for both of us! Maggie

Annette~

Sending as many P&PT's as possible to you & your sweet baby. You were right last week, when you said you don't relax until that baby is safe in your arms. Keep focused on that feeling & may this week pass quickly for you.

Hugs

Annette - I am swending along big hugs to get you through as well as some patience vibes. Believe me there is nothing about pregnancy that is "easy" nerve wise. But it is the most wonderful expereince and I hope you get to enjoy every second!

Annette, try not to worry too much. I know it's not easy to do, but it really won't help anything!! Is 6 wks when you can see a heartbeat? And, that's when the chances of m/c are much, much less. You're doing great!! I can't wait to hear how the appointment goes (and then you'll feel foolish for worrying about nothing!).

Christine

P.S. I'm sending all the prayers and positive thoughts I can!!
