What package did you pick?

I was going to post this under the November cyclers thread but I decided to post it this way to possibly get more responses. I know that I am asking the age old question.
I am still debating which package I want to pick for my first IVF. I am on BCP and my last pill is Oct 31st then my baseline U/S is Nov 1st which is the day that payment is due. Gulp!
My stats:
Me: 36 (37 on Nov 23rd), DH 42.
Categorized as unexplained infertility.
Been trying for #1 since 2006, got pregnant on first IUI but that ended in ectopic. I did 5 other IUIs after which were BFN. The only fertility medicine was Femara.
Antral Follicle Count: 20 (10 each side)
I told the financial person at my clinic that we will do the 1 fresh and

I do not go to a clinic that offers packages, so I can't give advice there. I have been through a few cycles though, and my doctor told me something that has given me so much peace of mind through out. He told me that the cost of 1 IVF cycle is what he estimates it costs to raise a child for 1 year. I pay almost $10000 per cycle , which does not include meds. I have been trying for a baby for more than 10 years, and that equals $100000, if I had a child 10 years ago!! So when my DH has tried to complain about the cost, I quickly remind him of this.Good luck to you!

Thanks everyone. I still kinda wanted to do the 2 and 2 but hubby really wanted to do the 1 and 1. If that doesn't work, we will need another 1 and 1 or another FET depending on if we have any frozen embies. He "thinks" that it will work right away even though I'm not all that convinced. The clinic sent the contract in the mail for the 1 and 1 and will are doing it.
We did two fresh, two frozen, and though we got pregnant on our first time, we are thrilled. I figure that because we chose that instead of the one fresh, one frozen, we were ensuring a pregnancy on our first time! Total (including the package, the meds -- though I got that grant coverage for most, the MESA/TESE, and the post-postive test care at the clinic -- for 10 weeks of my pregnancy) we spent was 33,000! And trust me, for us, that is A LOT! But it is all worth it! We are so excited to welcome our little guy in December/January.

Cons: Obviously it costs more money upfront, and you may not be able to use the frozen anyway (if you don't have enough embryos).
I think your chances for pregnancy are good, so this is a tough decision to make. I was lucky to have some insurance coverage but if not would have probably done a single cycle payment and regretted it (with no embies for FET) I went on to success in my second cycle. If you can swing it financially the multi cycle plan would likely save you stress.
When I spoke to a IRL friend about "what if we spend that much and get lucky right away?" Her response was : when you hold your pink bundle in your arms would it be worth $18K?
