I thought I'd start a thread for my IVF updates.  It's as much for my personal record as for anyone else, so feel free to ignore it. :smileyhappy: 

Today  (8/20) I started 10 units of Lupron.  Shot went smoothly, wasn't a big deal after all the IUIs I've done. I'm feeling some twinges/pulling on my left side, hoping it's not my ovary trying to O. I'm on BCP for another 4 days, so surely it's prevented O.  I guess we'll see!

I have purse size organizers with all my IVF info in them. I still love looking back at them. :smileyhappy:

Sounds like your ovaries are gearing up and getting ready for what they need to do!!!

Lupron is going well, the shots are no biggie. I'm not looking forward to the PIO with the big needles. :smileyfrustrated:

I took my last BCP this morning, so I'm on AF watch. I have my baseline u/s on 8/30, so just 6 more days. I'm ready to get the stims underway.

Those PIO shots can be a doozy, but you will breeze right through that! AF just came to visit me this morning after being over three weeks late and horrible PMS forever! I will send her your way!!!

Well, I'm out until further notice. Apparently my OB did NOT get the endometriomas on my L and R ovaries when he removed a large mass in July, and I can't proceed until they're removed. The RE and I thought he had removed them, in the operative report he indicated he had. We discovered them at my baseline this morning. I haven't talked to the RE yet, I've been talking to the IVF coordinator. The RE is going to call me over the weekend to make a plan, I'm planning on asking her to do the surgery herself, even though she's out of network for my insurance. I should have had her do the original surgery and am kicking myself right now. Overall, it's been a rotten day. :smileysad:
