It does sound like you are having fun! I totally understand how the day can get away from you. I am finding that happening to me this summer. So glad the camping trip was a wonderful time for all of you! Connor sounds like such an easy going baby.

Wow, that is some to do list you have going on there. Sounds like you are doing great preparing ahead of time to get everything done. I have always wanted to visit Australia and can't wait to hear all about it from you! :smileyhappy:

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Thanks angie, we are busy, but we are having a lot of fun :smileyhappy:  I miss checking in here, but I just don't have time to be on the computer this summer, lol! Camping was a LOT of work with just me and four little boys, but in the end we had fun, so that is what matters.  Connor actually really enjoyed it I think.  It was very hot, but thankfully the yurt had a fan, so usually in the afternoon at the hottest, we would sit inside the yurt and take some down time and have the fan blowing on us, so that cut the heat nicely.  Also, the beach was awesome, though Connor didn't actually go IN,  I dipped his toes and he didn't mind at all.  He spent most of the time chilling under an umbrella with grandma while I swam with the others.  I am very relieved that his passport came in and I am in a bit of a time crunch to get some other things lined up before my hernia repair in September.  After that, I won't be much for running errands before our trip.  I still have to go see the bank and let them know about our trip to unlock our accounts for international travel and then go to the travel agent and pick up our tickets and get our itinerary and apply for visas (apparently Australia requires a visa as well as a passport to enter the country).  I am sure it will get done if I keep a list of to-dos, I won't miss anything vital.

How are you? BUSY again! (or maybe still!) Our summer is flying by, I cannot believe that July is nearly done.  We went camping for a week, silaged our hay on the farm, my sister came home for two weeks to work in her store, and we start swimming lessons on Monday - every day for two weeks.  After that, we will doing back to school shopping and then my hernia repair is scheduled for September 6th. I will be recovering for six weeks after that, and we leave for Australia the first week of October.   That  is pretty much our summer in a nutshell :smileytongue:

How is your family?  Good! The boys are really enjoying their summer and have had a lot of fun so far.  Connor is growing like a weed and is smiling all the time now, which is really fun :smileyvery-happy: He is still such a happy baby and sleeps nearly all night now, which is such a blessing.  We had his baptism last weekend while my sister was out for a visit.  It went really well and he was quite the handsome little boy!

Anything new to share? Nothing really new, we are just plugging away at the activities for the summer and I am slowly getting things together for our big trip in October.  Connor's passport arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago, so that was a relief! We just need to buy some medical insurance and inform the financial institutuions of our trip, and we are pretty much ready to go, yay!!  We are all soooo excited, and DH and I are a bit nervous about keeping the boys occupied for so long as well...

Any recent pics? I have attached a few pics of Connor's baptism last weekend

I am looking forward to your upbaptism.jpgbaptize.jpgdate!!!
