Well, I had my first Biophysical profile today...the first of MANY since I'm now and a twice weekly schedule until I deliver because of the Gestational Diabetes. Every Monday and Thursday I get to go in and peek at my little girl. (Yep...she's still a girl...I made her check again I don't want ANY surprises at birth!)
The scan went well. She scored an 8 out of 8 so I didn't have to do the NST portion. She finally flipped so she's head down. (I think this is what happened while walking at the zoo last week and could be why I was in so much discomfort!) Fluid levels look great, breathing motions were a plenty, she was moving all over and her heart rate was perfect. They did a growth check and she looks to be about 4 to 4.5 pounds right now which is just right for 32 weeks.
We got a couple of really cute 3D photos of her face. The ultrasound tech has been with us since the beginning with my folicle checks and clomid protocol so when I told her that we hadn't been able to get a good face shot (my other ultrasounds were done at the hospital because of my ADVANCED MATERNAL AGE!) I think she took pity on us and flipped on the 3D right away and BAM...there was her little face. It was just amazing! She told me we'll work on getting some really good shots each Monday. (I see a different tech on Thursdays). I just love her because she explains things so well and you feel like she really cares about you and your baby. I wish I could see her every day, but Thursdays are her days off. Sigh...
SO that's my update. I get to go in on Thursday again, only after that BPP, I have an OB visit so I may have more news to share.
