H is doing good. She is 2 months now. Time sure flies fast. Birth weight was 6 lbs. 8 oz.. Now she weighs 8 lbs. 13.5 oz. Doctor said she is not gaining enough weight and wants to see her in 2 weeks. She is learning to hold her head up and turn from back to tummy. She smiles, coos, and laugh. She is so precious. Right now,
Angela: mommy to Connor 5/00 and Emily 7/08 and Chloe 10-28-09!
I am so glad things are going well.
Jeremy loves being a big brother. He just adores her. He holds her every chance he gets.
However, we somehow have to nip his bad attitude in the behind. I think it's because of all the changes that have taken place that is effecting him.
I just knew he would love being a big brother!
I can't believe Jackson is 6 1/2 months old!
Hey Angie! Things are going well over here. Angela is growing like a weed!! She will be 4 months on the first, and I weighed her and measured her here at home and she's about 15 pounds and 26 inches long. She has the cutest little thunder thighs and chubby rolls all over.
I was planning on breastfeeding as long as I could, probably around a year or so, but it didn't work out. My supply started diminishing about a month ago and she was constantly hungry and not very happy. She still STTN though even though she was so hungry. But she was nursing for about three hours straight every night before bed just to get enough to sleep well. I am not a good pumper as I can pump and pump and just get about an oz or two out of each breast even when I was producing plenty. So I started her on formula and wow, it made such a difference. She turned back into a happy baby and she moved her own bedtime up by 2 1/2 hours and kept STTN until at least 7am. So usually she sleep from 9pm to about 7am. It's awesome.
She still only east about 4 oz of formula at a time, about every 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and we've started some solids. She loves everything I've given her. We skipped rice cereal and went to oatmeal cereal and barley cereal, which I always mix with a fruit or a veggie. We've done bananas, peaches, peas and squash, and she loves them all. The only time she wouldn't eat any cereal is when I mixed oatmeal cereal with a bit of formula and no fruit or veggie. She refused to eat it. I don't blame her. I tasted it myself and it immediately turned my stomach. Not a very good taste combination, evidently.
I don't have any super recent pictures of her, I need to take
