I went through most of the slideshow and some of the toys I definitely agree with recalling like the tabletop chair and the doll with loops in her hair, etc but maybe I am playing devils advocate here by saying that some of these toys just need parents to use common sense! I think the age of lawsuits has turned sane thinking people into idiots! For example, the outdoor wooden fort/swingset has been recalled because it may rot?! It is WOOD and exposed to the elements, of course it may rot, and if you buy it you need to be responsible enough to keep an eye on your purchase and replace it when it is worn. Same with the scoot and zoom toy, it is being recalled because it may tip - any riding toy has that potential, and most kids (at least all mine) have rolled their little riding toy multiple times and haven't suffered so much as a bruise. IMO people are just looking for an excuse to sue these days - we used to swing on a tire on a rope, can you imagine the dangerous potential of THAT summertime activity?!

I agree with you Lisa! I also rode in the back of trucks, did not wear a helmet when riding my bike, I did the rope swing thing too and many other outdoor activities! :) Nothing is 100% safe.
