Have you ever heard of a place doing swimming lessons for your child but you are not allowed to stay and observe???? We want Maddie to have swimming lessons this summer and there was an ad in the paper through our local schools that they will be doing swimming lessons but parents are only allowed the first and last days! I am NOT comfortable with just leaving Maddie in a huge school with a HUGE pool and a bunch of strangers. She is only 6 years old, I just don't understand the reasoning??? I don't get why parents can't sit in the viewing area and just be there. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this???

Hmm, that does sound odd to me. I wonder if they don't want parent's there because it is distracting to the kids.

I am with you, I wouldn't feel comfortable not being able to be there. I hope you can find somewhere that will allow you to attend the classes. Swimming lessons are so much fun!

I wouldn't be comfortable with that either.
