Hi Jessi and welcome

I am so sorry for your loss of the twins ((HUGS))). I know a lot of women here have been on clomid including myself. I can be a wonderful drug if you dont O on your own. I took it three times and conceived all three times the first time. But this last year I took it 6 times and nothing, so it can vary from person to person. Like all drugs, it has some side effects. I didnt experience many until my 5th and 6th round of it. It affects your uterine lining and cm. You take it on either cd 5-9 or cd 3-7. Do you see an RE? Most women who take it get a midcycle u/s to check to see how many and how mature your follies are. I always seem to O on clomid and it worked well a few years ago when I conceived my ds, but for some reason it doesnt work for me anymore. I am now on Femara, which works like clomid but a little differently. (if that makes sense lol)

Good luck and talk with your ob/Re

thank you. i have never had a problem ovulating before. i have always been able to tell exactly when i was ovulating. then we decided to start trying a few months ago and all the sudden my periods stopped coming (last one was july) and i was not ovulation. i am seeing the ob that delivered my dd 3 years ago. she did tests on my petuitary glands and they show to be fine. she put me on some kind of hormone that was supposed to start my af but it did not work so we started clomid yesterday. i have an appt to see her in two and a half weeks but i do not know what she is checking for i didn't get to go to the office and talk to her she just called me on the phone and said the labs were fine and that she was going to call in a perscription for something that will help me get pg.
