I know you said you were taking clomid again this month, and you respond well. I took 6 months of it, 50mg cd 3-7 also, and couldnt conceive. I asked my Re about Femara and he gave me the go ahead. I wanted to let you know that there are no side effects from Femara and the conception rate is the same.

Just an FYI in case your side effects get bad.

Good luck and cant wait til you can test!!

Today is cd 7, so I took my last pill of clomid today. I will be doing IUI when I get a positive on an O test. Yes, I will have to see what my dr. wants me to do if this next IUI does work. I have been on clomid for 3 months in a row, so next cycle I need to take my one month off of clomid, which makes me sad! My dh and I need to figure out how many more months we are going to ttc.

So, when are you due for AF? Are you late? I think you should pay attention to your body, and don't worry that it came back bfn! I don't want to get your hopes up, but I have a good feeling about this..... We are all here for you, either way! Keep us posted!!

p.s. My name is Susan.

Hi Susan...

I will be praying that this cycle works for you. I took clomid for 6 months but my RE wanted to start me on injectibles after 4, but I couldnt afford the $1000 a month (ouch)!

I wanted to try iui, but my dh wont so my RE suggested Femara.

I am due for AF tomorrow. I am going to test again in am, but I really want a blood test, but we have no ins. (dh laid off last month) so I will call to see how much it is out of pocket.

Good luck with the iui and keep us posted

Susan

Did you happen to find preseed on the net? If so , what do you think about it?? Of course, if your doing IUI, you bypass any potential problems with cm anyhow...which is good.

Yes, I did find it on the web. I will keep it in mind.

When I have gone in for IUI, the dr. has told me that my cm looks very good. So, I am not sure with iui if it will make a difference. But, thanks for the info.

Doesn't it suck that most insurances do not cover infertility? I feel your pain when you mentioned you do not have insurance. We do not have any coverage for infertility or infertility testing either. We use a flex spending account, which helps. But, insurance coverage would be nice!

Still hoping for you this month! Post a message tomorrow!
