Well, I guess technically I am in the one week waiting period!!! I am really glad I have this message board to annoy someone other than my DH. (He is super excited, but think's I stress about it a little too much --- but, that's my nature!!) :) Today feels like the last few days have been, a little queasy at times and breats sore at times, but I keep thinking I'm making it up in my head!

I am heading out today to stock up on more pregnancy tests, I only have dollar store tests left, and I don't fully trust them. What's the best kind of test to purchase? I haven't researched them yet, thinking they are pretty much all the same. But, by reading on here, sounds like people have had different results with some! I'd appreciate the info, maybe it'll keep my distracted just a few more days!! :)

Thanks!! - Danielle

I drive my boyfriend crazy too! He says I obsess way too much, which I probably do. ;) I'm going to drive him even more nuts now once I start testing.

As for which tests to buy, I have a good amount of the dollar store tests, but I usually like to pick up a box of FRERs (first response), from all of my research it seems to be pink dye tests are the easiest to read and least likely for false positives/evaps.

Are you temping or charting? How long have you been trying?

This is our 6th cycle, not long, but long enough for me!! I am charting but i haven't been doing my temps, if I'm not pregnant, I'll start that. That's about the only thing I haven't done yet.. I have been doing the Opk kits for 2 months, so I can pin point my Ovulation better.

Thanks for the info on the tests! Ill be picking some up today!! :)

First Response Early Result seems to be the favorite for early testing on the boards. Where I live, the run about $8 for a 2 pack. There is a 3 pack also, but it's about $14, so it doesn't save you any money. The boxes have a $2 coupon inside, so if you buy one box at a time using the coupon, you get a 2 pack for about $6 total (factoring in the coupon).

Blue dye tests seem to be worse than pink tests. They get a lot worse reviews.

Oh and FYI, there *should* still be a coupon on the FRER website for $2.00 as well. :)

When do you think you're gonna test? I am 8 DPO today so I think Friday I will test at 10 DPO, it is so hard to resist the urge!

Its sooo hard to resist!! I may try to wait until Sunday. I could test Saturday, but I have a wedding to photograph. So even if I find out that day, we can't really celebrate. So, I may test Sunday or even wait since I'll be getting that Ultrasound done that day and hopefully my endometrium is nice and thick =) but, I am pretty impatient. So, we will see!!
