Oh no, I am so sorry you are going through this, I can only imagine how it felt to get the bfp's on the hpt's to now be told no you are not pregnant :(

It could be too early. If you had a qualitative blood test, they are not as sensitive as some hpts on the market and it could be falsely negative. I would keep POAS and if they are getting darker, have another blood draw.

I'm with Mrs Kevin. I hope it's just that it's too early and that you keep getting BFPs on the home tests. KUP

I WOULD simply keep testing at home....if you continue to have positives then it may have just been a bad blood test or the results were confused. FRE is a very good test and rarely gives falses of any kind!

Well, DH said the same thing....that the test they ran was probably qualitative, not quantitative and depending on the lab the cut off value for qualitative hcg test to be considered pregnant can be anywhere from 5-30, and my hpt's are probably just picking up a lower hcg than whatever the qualitative cutoff is, if that makes sense. I did take another frer this a.m., but it's fainter than yesterdays...my guess is that give it another couples days and the line will be gone. It really sucks, but what can you do? DH told me I HAVE to stop testing early b/c chemicals are just too common...although now that we've had 3 unsuccessful preg's this year we are starting to seriously wonder what is wrong. My ins company says they are going to cover getting me and DH chromosome analysis tested just to be sure that's not the problem...so more blood work for me! I am really still hoping that this is just bad luck, but how much bad luck=a real issue? Part of me wishes I hadn't tested before 14 dpo, but at the same time I guess I have more information now..maybe? But yeah, DH wants me not to test ever again until I'm a month late or have a popping belly. OH boy. I do see his point though...

So sorry to hear. Good luck and lots of baby dust for your next cycle. I know all the stresses of finding a good doctor. It's hard!
