CD23, 7 dpo today. Plan on testing on Monday, October 3 at 11dpo.

I got up at 4:30am today and yesterday (which is crazy for me, I usually sleep until at least 9am when my cats wake me up.), made some sausage and fried tenderloin biscuits (ya'll in the south know what I'm talking about. lol), and white gravy for my husband before he went off to work.

Not quite as anxious to test this month as I was last month. I haven't had any sort of "symptoms" or anything , I feel perfectly normal. I swore I was pregnant last month, but I just think me taking prenatal vitamins & they were making me feel sick---I quit taking them and am just taking a 400mcg folic acid supplement a day along with lots of fruits and vegetables.

4 days til' I can POAS (I'm going to use a FRER)! :smileyvery-happy:

Welcome to the 1ww Rebekkah! I'm only 2 days ahead of you & nothing much to report here either except for some off & on crampiness. I really wish my boobs would start hurting ;)

Call me crazy but maybe you should have just made dh a bowl of cereal today...I'm pretty sure making those biscuits & gravy cost you a couple of afghan squares ;)

I have a confession, I am keeping the afghan for myself!! lol

Because:
1) It's turning out to be more of a funkier style that I originally had planned (many, many colors, but gorgeous!) and I want to keep it for myself. (I'm going to make mom another afghan for Christmas that is more her style...."classic")
2) It wouldn't remotely be finished in time.

So, her birthday is next Friday and I have no idea what I'm getting her now!! haha. I'm such a horrible daughter, but when I tell her the story about me keeping the afghan, I know for positive she'll just laugh at how silly I am. Maybe I can tell her we're pregnant next week and she won't care!! haha.

Oh,and not any symptoms here either, but my nipples are a bit sore and kinda itchy, but I had that last month too, just not the itchy part. :smileysad:

That comment that I posted earlier about "not being quite that anxious to test" has went right out the window within the day. I wrote that in the early morning hours, and now that I've been looking at baby stuff on the net, I am getting V-E-R-Y impatient, I want to be pregnant and I want it NOW!! (said in the tone of Veruca Salt on Willy Wonka. lol).

Okay, I'm going crazy now, but the earliest I can test is probably around Sunday at 10dpo since I have no idea when implantation is taking place, I've seen a lot of people with positives at 10dpo with FRER. What do you think? AAAhhh!!! I'm getting so impatient now, I need DH to get home from work so I can drive HIM crazy! lol.

Lol ! Sounds like the real reason you gave up the afghan was so you could properly indulge in the 1ww ;) Yes, we do see many 10dpo positives, but you're right, it totally depends on implantation so as long as you won't get majorly bummed with a potential bfn, test away. Just remember that early bfn's don't necessarily mean you're not knocked up :)

Nah, believe me, I'm still crocheting, just not as quickly, I'm trying my best to keep my mind OFF the 1 WW! HAHA.

I won't get majorly bummed til AF shows up.....I know a lot of women don't test early due to sometimes having a 'chemical pregnancy', but me and DH both agreed that if something like that happened, we would definitely want to know. Our religious view points is that life begins at the moment of conception, and if we conceived, no matter the outcome, we would want to know no matter how much it would probably hurt us emotionally.

So Sunday morning, 10dpo it is!!! lol. I can't wait to POAS! haha.

This month was perfect, my temps were perfect, showed a perfect ovulation rise, our timing in conjunction with ovulation was perfect. This has to be it!!!

Wow! Ladies it seems like I missed a lot! What the hec was I doing at 2 WW for so long! Thank you girls for helping me drag down to this now.

Rebekah I can’t believe you are keeping that for yourself, that is so self-centered! Lol I have done that so many times, I bought some earrings in New York City with the intention to give them to a friend and guess what I kept them. I bought some cheaper ones for her. Lol! Talk about self centered! LMBO!

Like you my calmness was out the window yesterday and today I feel the same way. What is FRER? First Response Early Results? How sensitive are they to pregnancy hormone? I am getting a new box and I have my 2 dollar coupons ;) Also, since I think I o’ed CD14 you and I are at the same DPO… I too can test on Sunday because it will be 10DPO.  I will test if you test too, but I don’t like to get a negative so I don’t know. I initially said I wanted to wait until Friday the 7th because AF is due on this date. I don’t want to feel let down like last time when the line never showed up.

Rebekah I got your PM and it won’t let me reply, it says the same thing, but again I sent you my e-mail before in case you need to reach out to me.

LOL, that's what is funny, my mom and my mamaw (my mom's mom) all do the same thing too. We'll get something for each other ( or somebody else) as a gift, and we'll end up keeping it and getting them something else. Maybe it's genetic in my case? HAHAHA.

Now I think I'm going to get my mom one of those cat clocks that the tail swings and the eyes move at the same time, and get it in pink (my mom's kitchen is pink & retro), she has mentioned several times about her grandmother having one of those clocks and how cool she thought it was, I think she would love her own, but gosh are they expensive, $49.99! But my momma is worth it. Now I'm praying I can get shipping to get it here in time.....if I decided to get it that is. I am so indecisive.

Me and DH went to eat Mexican food again, I've been craving it like crazy.....especially avocadoes...yum!! They have this appetizer there called "chori carne" and it is chorizo, beef, cilantro, onions, and 3 times of cheeses all on a sizzling plate, I swear, it is so addictive. I also have been in the baking mood today, going to make some from scratch vanilla cupcakes with my mamaw's homemade caramel frosting. Yum! (Lola, I need to go find your e-mail, I had forgot about that, I doubt anyone else wants to hear about my crazy, yet mundane life. haha)

And you are correct about the FRER, it is the First Response Early Result, I have 7 of FRER and 2 CVS "digital" (in case one of my FRER is positive and I need a 2nd opinion). FRER are supposed to be some of the best so I have read from numerous posts on here and numerous websites. I saw that on Fertility Friend that the majority of women received a positive around 11dpo on a FRER, some even earlier.

I always say I will wait to, but when it comes down to it, I am not that patient. I am definitely going to test Sunday morning, so we can test together!!!

Lol!! Find my e-mail its on one of my replies (sigh when I was able to reply). I need to go and by the FRER and I have 3 Clear Blue Digital test that mark pregnant and not pregnant. We will test Sunday first thing in the AM :p. and I will post the results but if I wake up with second thoughts I won't do it. :(

I like the clock idea for ur mom and you might have to pa expedited shipping fees because ur mom's bday is next week right? DH's bday is tomorrow :) I am making him a surprise, grilled shrimp and red thyme potatoes I got the recipes from the food channel (Rachel Ray). I also ordered a Tres Leche cake for him. He has no idea about all of this. He loves that cake and he is going to be surprised.

I like Mexican food and specially authentic Mexican food. I have been to Mexico several times and I love how different stuff tasted over there. :) I mean imagine all the dishes u like 1,000 times better, fresher, and yummy!!!
