Normal LP length?

I think I read that ur LP is always the same length. This is my 2nd cycle off bc since DS was born 2years ago. Looking back at my charts from before conceiving him it looks like my LP was 13 days. Should I Assume that is still true and consider af late after 13dpo? Just curious so I can pick a good day to test if my temps stay up. Thanks!

Yes and no. LP can flucuate by a day or so here or there. I usually had anything from a 32-36 day cycle. A little frustrating when trying to determain when AF should arrive. However, with that said, since I knew when ovulation was for me, I could at least feel comfortable knowing around 12dpo would be the "standard" time that I could test and may be able to get an accurate answer. Of course, I waited till 14dpo because I was a chicken LOL but 12dpo is the rule of thumb for an accurate test with FMU. Anyway, if I got a negative on 12 or 13dpo, I'd count myself out and AF would arrive a day or more afterwards.

Good Luck! I think 13dpo would be a great time to test!

I do believe so, give or take a day. But I Think we should both just hope AF stays away until Sunday and then be "test day buddies" LOL :-)

Thanks Rhonda! I'm hoping the temp slowly keeps climbing and doesn't tank in the next couple of days.....I had one cycle like this before I got pregnant with DS and at day 14 it just completely dropped back to the very bottom. FX'd it stays UP!
Shawna - you know I'm going to wait for you to test. I told you I don't like BFNs.....or the thought of testing early and then having a chemical when I could be completely ignorant of it. :)

Looks like you'll have to test by yourself. AF decided to visit last night :'-(
