Just as I figured, the 5+ days of extra early and confusing spotting were only leading up to AF. One good thing about it is that I'm not totally crushed since I had a lot of days building up to it...I've already had my drawn out pity party. Normally, I'd be looking for cycle buddies about now, but we won't be trying this month because of DH travelling for work. He won't be here during my entire fertile time, but that's okay, I need a break! I'll still be checking and commenting on the boards to keep up with you ladies! Since I'm already out for the next month, y'all will have to step up and get some BFPs in my absence!! I'm counting on y'all! :)

Awe well Suz, at least we know now. I know it's sucks but I think it was worse for you being in that limbo. Try and enjoy next month without the stress of TTC and maybe it'll be what your body needs to get all perked up and ready for action the following month! Bring in July with Fireworks of your own! ;) *Hugs*

Ya, I am with you....AF showed her ugle head after I had thought maybe I was late...nope just getting back to normal. Finally a 28 day cycle so that is good. Have a nice break, take this time to relax and do something for yourself..

Suz & Becky...Im so sorry af showed her ugly face :(

Becky, hopefully another month of soy will do the trick for you & you'll score a June bfp. Early O & a 28 day cycle do sound pretty nice though!

Suz, Suz, Suz...I don't know what to say -spot is such a frustrating beast. I'm still wrapping my head around spot showing up so freaking early this month. It didn't even give us a chance to get in any good dance moves :( So frustrating but at least you're out of limbo. Have you considered asking for a referral to see a specialist about your cycles? It might help give you peace of mind. I really hope taking a break & not having to even think about ttc will help "reset" your body & you'll be primed for that beautiful bfp next month :)

Sorry for the confusing AF this month, spotting is the worst! We have to take this month off or as long it takes for me to get my period, I have to admit it's been nice not to have to worry about fertile times. Have a relaxing month! We'll both be back in the game soon. :)

Suz, I just don't know what to say :-( It really sucks that this is still happening. You can be my not cycling buddy ;-) We can start a cheer leading squad! If we can't get BFPs for ourselves we should be rooting everyone else on.

I apologize in advance if this is unwelcome, but I have dug up some links on spotting. I only knew about progesterone causing abnormal spotting. It appears that there are quite a few other causes. If you want to read them I have posted them in this message.

Take care and enjoy a few bevies on your month off!

Thanks Laura. And no, it is not unwelcome! Its sweet of you to help! Yes, I've read all about it over the past months TTC, so I've seen all the possible causes which is why I contacted my doc a few times. I am trying not to read too much into the serious causes since my doc doesn't seem concerned. I had my annual exam when all this was going on and all was normal, plus all the blood work, so I don't know what's causing it. All I know is its really frustrating!!
I'm looking forward to my month off and hopefully I can rejuvenate a positive attitude for the following months. :)
