Oddly happy AF is here. Ready to start new. I'll be trying opks for the first time ever, so of you have any advice, I'll take it!!

I have coupons for first response, should I try those? When do I start?

Happy fourth cycle to me! Anyone else on CD 1 or close? My cycles have been 27-30 days, so curious to see when I O.

Hey Brooke! I'm on CD5, so just a few days ahead of you. I started using OPKs last month and thought it was very interesting to get even more info about my cycle -- even if it hasn't gotten me a bfp yet :)

So I used the Clearblue digital opk because I had a coupon for that one and found it very easy to use. I have enough testers to use it one more cycle, I think, and then I may switch to the First Response since I have a coupon for those now. I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has opinions one way or the other about the brands.

I am here with ya! I will be doing OPKs again this month, hoping that last month was a weird fluke and I will be back to my 28 day regular cycle again this month.
Based on my "normal" 28 days, with a 14 day LP, I should have my fertile window while my dad is in town visiting...weird! At least our guest room is upstairs in the front of our house and our bedroom is downstairs in the back, so they are far apart!

That is too funny!

I now have no idea how many days my cycles are. Ttc ds is was text book 28. This time around I'm 28, 27, 30. No consistency.

I'm excited to try opks this month. Just more fuel to the ttc obsession fire :)

Also excited to have some cycle buddies again!

Good luck Brooke! I recommend using cheapie opk's & confirming with the smiley digitals to save money :) I was able to use the same box of CBE over several cycles (hopefully you will have LOTS leftover after your bfp though!!) You can get the cheapies from the dollar store or online. Good luck!

I'm on CD2 now and my cycles are usually 26-27 days. I use temp to see when I o. I tried a number of opk, but I never could catch it without using 3 a day. I switched to the cbefm and that worked every month. I don't have any sticks for it right now though so I'm just going to temp.

My DH's swimmers don't swim well. I read before that optimal quality is achieved when they are released every other day. So, to get pg last time I put DH on vitamins and we would BD every other day from right after AF left until she arrived again. After a few months of that, I got PG. That's what we are going to try this time.

Good luck.
