I understand how difficult it is to be ttc for so long & it not working out, but while it is possible the problem may lie with your dh it could also just be "unexplained"

You may be right that the problem lies with your DH.

But, equally it might be entirely fixable.

Have you got a SA booked for him, and have you seen anyone? (The sub fertility clinic we've been to, sees you as a couple)

Wishing you lots of luck

I know *exactly* how you feel. DH had an SA and it said he had less than 1% normal sperm... 99% of them could not get me pg. I put him on a sperm-boosting vitamin and supplement regimen and within 6 weeks we saw some improvement. Still, though, the numbers were low. That was back in December. The Dr told me we could try naturally for a few more cycles, but that we would probably not conceive without IUI or IVF. This month we got our BFP (which, by the way, was a few weeks before we hit the 1 year mark of TTC). We weren't supposed to be able to get pg on our own, but a lot of the time the Drs are just WRONG. Keep faith, and get your DH an SA!! Our insurance didn't cover it either, but it was only $40. HTH!!

i would recommend going to see a uroligist. They can set up to have a semen analysis and sometimes coming from them it will be covered on your insurance where fertility specialist
