CD5-anxious!

Well I guess it's my third month trying....I am super excited and really want to get the show on the road! I am a little discouraged because the last time we were ttc we got pregnant in the first month. It is normal to not get pregnant right away, and last month there was some timing issues. So hopefully all goes smoothly this month! Anyone else get anxious waiting to try?

I hate the waiting thing and really just the whole TTC thing to because you have so many emotions and ranging from excited to disappointed. We have been seriously trying for about 4 months altough we had been toying with it a little here and there since about Nov. But now I am using the OPK's and just started charting my Temp. I'm slowly learning. I am currently on CD 17 and had + OPK sat. sun. and today.... So we just keep doing the BD and I have my fingers crossed that this is the month :) The wait is awful and then when it comes time to test I get so sad because I don't want a BFN :( But hopefully things will get better my Dr. put me on a pre natal Vitamin so hopefully that will help a little. Do you use OPK's? Or chart?

Hey thanks for replying. No, I don't use OPK's or anything. If it doesn't happen this month, I am ordering some for sure! I test everyday from five days before my period is due until the day it's due, even though I know I won't test positive until after my period is due (it took until a week after my period was due to get a BFP the last pregnancy). It's all crazyness if you ask me lol! We are really wanting to start a family. We have been pregnant twice, but lost them both times.

I have a 7 yr old daughter from a previous marriage...Me and my now husband decided that if we wanted to start having more kids we should do it now before my DD is 17 lol! You sound just like me...I start testing way early but I just get so excited I can't wait of course so far that then to saddness when I get a BFN :( But I hope hoping soon very soon! I started using the OPK's and I love them just because it helps take the guess work out of timing it just right. I just barely started temping and it's still very confusing to me what it all means lol but I just do it and am trying to learn as I go. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry to hear about your 2 M/C You have to be so strong because I don't know if I would want to try again cause I would be so scared. So I really look up to you for being so strong and sticking in there threw the hard times! Do they know why you m/c? My sister has m/c 2 also and they didn't know why but on the third time she got pg she was full term and had a little girl she now had 2 boys on top of that. So that is a positive note that you may have no problems this time around!! :D I feel like im obsessing over this TTC thing but I just want a little baby so bad and so does my DH and DD. Do you know what CD you are on? Keep in touch it's nice to have someone to talk to that understands!

Aww, that's nice that your daughter is involved with ttc and wants a baby too! I think having them that far apart will be nice in a way, less sibling rivalry I would imagine. What does OPK stand for? I know its some sort of ovulation test. I really think I might start on em next month, we'll see. I am sorry to hear about your sister, but it's nice to hear the happy ending! As to why I miscarried, the first was a blighted ovum. Very common for first pregnancies. Basically the fetus never developed a heart and the pregnancy would never go further. So that resulted in a D/C. I was ok when that happened, DH and I were younger, it was a surprise pregnancy. The second pregnancy I lost around 4 months. That was hard because we saw the little guy moving on the ultrasound and we had been trying for that baby. They did a D/C and found nothing wrong with the baby. My doctors best educated guess was it was lost due to stress. I was under a lot of stress, mostely work related. So I took that as a sign. I switched jobs, and DH and I bought an acreage in the country. Life couldn't be better now and I truly beleive

OPK stands for Ovulation Predictor kit....I think that is so aweosme that you have such a great out look on everything and are so positive! I love the OPK just because it helps take the guess work out of timing the BD. I'm on CD 19 so I just got done with the BD but now comes the horrible 2ww......I hate it because I have such a hard time waiting to test lol. I just need to have a little more self control. (yeah right like that will happen lol). But yeah it's nive that my DD is so supportive and excited I think it will be nice maybe there wont be as much

Hi guys I hope that you don't mind me jumping in here. I am really new at this message board thing so bare with me. Let me tell you that it really helps to read your stories and know that I am not the only one who thinks or feels the things that you do. I don't want to talk to friends about TTC because when it doesn't happen you feel strange talking to them. We are in our 3 cycle of TTC. I am currently in my 1WW and am going crazy waiting. I do not want to test to early but I though that I would try on Sunday. Seems so far away. I have 2 children from a previous marriage and got pregnant on the first try with both of them. My DS are 11 and 9 now. My DH and I got married 4 months ago and wanted to start trying right away(We have been together for 3 years). Both of my sons were sick at birth, the second worse than the first and I never thought that I would want to try again but here we are and we both want it so bad. Oh well enough of my rambling for now. Good luck to you all and I hope to talk to you soon!

Oh yes...I am so anxious! It is only our second month trying, but I have been wanting to try for a good two years before that but we were not able to at the time...so it feels like I've been waiting forever! Plus I'm about to turn 30 at the end of the month...and my DH is 10 years older, so it's not like we're getting any younger!
