DH is in the hospital

Well, I will try to make this as short as possible, but my DH is in the hospital, he hasn't been feeling good for the past month, and has been urinating a lot (like 8 times at night) and every 15 minutes during the day. and he has been drinking a ton, like maybe close to 300oz and so since his family has diabetes he decided to go to the doctor today and well his sugar was off the charts, like 444! so they immediately made him check in the hospital and he is definitely diabetic and he has an IV, and they are going to a CT scan on him to check all of his organs for damage and his last blood sugar test he was still 412 and normal blood sugar level is 100 or less so it's pretty high, he could have gone into diabetic shock. He had a shot of insulin already and we are just trying to go from here because they can't give us any definite answers on how long he will be in the hospital or anything else. So please pray for my DH

I just wanted to send some hugs and support your way. I went through the same thing with my last husband... it was very sudden. Even though he had family history- we never expected it to manifest and require hospitalization. Hopefully they will get it down soon and get him onto a diet and meds regimen that will keep things stable. Lots of ((HUGS)) coming your way!
