I am so sorry to hear about you having m/c's, especially since you didn't even know and you found out so bluntly.

I am going to have a progesterone test on CD 21 (or 7 DPO), my

I'm so sorry to hear you've been having m/c's and especially for to just announce that way. I guess I am confused as to how she knows you have been having them every month, if you haven't been getting positive tests or being super late, anything like that?

Often a doctor will bill it as related to af problems so its covered & will do the basic blood-work.

I have been trying to conceive and charting for 8 years, and I don't see one single miscarriage in your charts. I am not trying to tell you that your doctor is wrong, but... your charts all look normal except for a luteal phase problem. You have a short luteal phase. With as short as your luteal phase is, it would be very hard to even get pregnant. I am trying to figure out how that doctor could tell you something like that. It is beyond me and I would find a new doctor. WOW..

Good Luck to you hon..

Hi! I am a TTC board grad, and often lurk. I can't help but get maddened when I read your post. I am no doctor, but I hardly believe that someone, even as educated as a doctor, could make a determination of miscarriage judging soley by your charts. Your temp drops look exactly like mine did while I was TTC. I agree with the pp that have stated you probably have an LP deficiency, but that is easily fixed if you are able to get on progesterone and/or try other natural remedies like B6. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a second opinion; even if this first doc was right, her bedside manner is HORRIBLE. Miscarriages are serious and emotional... no one should be told that way that they are having miscarriages, let alone multiple ones. Her lack of emotional sensitivity should be questioned. Also, her charges do seem high, as I had all of the lab work done for progesterone deficiency this past summer. I can't remember the actualy charges, but I think it was somewhere close to $300... $500 difference is a HUGE difference. I would encourage you to get the testing done though-- it will put your mind at ease with what oyu need to do, and also give the doctors clearer direction on a plan of action. My best advice is to be your own advocate-- you know your body better than anyone. My doc kept trying to tell me I wasn't Oing and that I needed clomid, when in fact i just Oed late every month (I did have some anovulatory cycles). Once I insisted they work with me and atleast trust my instinct one when I might have Oed, my testing came back fine. Not saying that's how it will be with you, but just saying that you have to defend yourself and look out for yourself because in the end, your the only one who really will! And lastly, I highly believe stress played a big part in me having a hard time conceiving. The month I took a break from the boards, didn't worry so much about temping and gave it all up with the realization that in the grand scheme of things, I am not in control, we get pregnant. Again, not saying that it will happen that way for everyone, but it was such a relief and break for me, and in the end i think helped the most with what I was wanting all along. Hope that this hasn't become too much of a novel for you, but your post just made me hurt too much not to atleast share another side to things. GL with your journey!!!

I am mainly a lurker here, but I would like to say that I agree with the previous poster(s) that suggest you get a second opinion.
