Frustrated with schedules!

This is my 3rd-4th cycle TTC (we started trying in October, even though I was pretty sure we had just missed ovulation, so IDK if that month really counts). I had a (suprise!) pregnancy last year which ended in miscarriage. I was devastated, but wanting something that hadn't been planned so badly made us realized how much we wanted this, so we started TTC.

DH doesn't normally travel for business, but his company is undergoing a lot of changes so he's had to travel a bit the past few months, and it looks like he'll be traveling for a few more months still. This is not good for BD timing :( I'm so frustrated! Between the travel, normal work schedules, and little incidents that come up in daily life, there's a lot of interference here. I know people say to be patient but it's hard! I had EWCM starting Wednesday 1/13 to Wednesday 1/20 (I haven't checked since). We BD'd every day Thursday 1/14-Saturday 1/16, then DH left town. He got back late Wednesday 1/20, so we BD'd again. Last night he sprained his ankle and we wound up in the ER, so no BD. Tonight he has a meeting so he probably won't get in till midnight. UGH! I'm trying to be patient and understanding, and it isn't his fault, but sometimes I just wanna scream at him or cry! I was feeling good about this cycle because of all the EWCM and low temps before O (possible estrogen surge?), but now IDK if our BD schedule will be good enough this time around :\

Anyone else have similar scheduling problems? How do you deal?

Thanks for listening. /end rant haha :)

When we first started TTC that was how it was for us too. DH had not been outta town in a few months and then all of the sudden he was having to leave on the weekends. Is totally so frustrating!! Sending hugs that the bd schedule worked and you can still get your BFP this month!!!

My DH doesn't travel for work, so I can't relate on that issue.

I'm a teacher, so my time off is limited to when my school is out. I'm praying that I get my BFP this month but if I don't, we'll be on President's Week break when I ovulate next, so even if DH is traveling I'll be able to go with him :)

You're right, it only takes one time to make a baby, so I'm hoping this is my lucky cycle! From the looks of your chart, it may have been yours, too :) I know how devastating a loss can be, so I hope that both of us get our BFPs super soon.

Good luck!

:)
