I had some similar issues with DD. Mine were a little earlier, but my RE said that as long as the hcg levels rise that's good. My particular issue was my initial pregnancy test. My hcg was pretty low. So low that I was warned that it may have been a chemical pregnancy. My next test didn't show doubling levels, but they were going up. DD is a perfect 2-year-old, and I had a VERY uneventful pregnancy with her. I understand that it's difficult not to worry when things don't go according to expectations, but it sounds like the ultrasound was good! I hope you've already had good news from the blood tests.
I'm in the same situation, at my ultrasound today, the sac measured 6 weeks and there was no fetal pole. I'm sending positive vibes your way and hope that everything works out for you. :)
Sam- The same thing happened to my sister last Friday with her firs u/s. The doctor wasn't too concerned, as six weeks can still be early to see the heartbeat. She goes back on the 28th for another u/s.
I just wanted to let you know that I am pulling for you! I hope you enjoyed your wedding :) I have everything crossed for you...well, not my legs LOL! I'm sure all will be fine!

Hey Sam!
Hi,

Sam, how are you doing? Thinking of you.
Missmell, from what I read it's really common not to be able to see the fetal pole till well after 6 weeks. Hope you're doing OK!
