(Okay, so this isn't a "vent", it's a good thing, but there is no section for "good things.")

I got 2 babysitting clients!!! I'm going to be watching 2 three year olds! I'm so excited to have some money coming in again! (The unemployment rate in my town is high, finding babysitting kids is hard, most people just have relatives watch their kids instead of paying a sitter, so my getting paid to watch TWO kids is a huge deal.)

I might be crazy. One kid will be here 7am-5pm, the other will be here 11am-8pm. So I'll have babysitting kids 13 hours a day. But that's okay. I love having a full house and I love staying home with my children! And now we won't be living paycheck to paycheck, we'll actually have a little wiggle room.

First week's money is going to toys/supplies for watching kids. Second week's money is going to a date night and a bookshelf. Third week, who knows :) I'm so excited!

Yea! I did daycare for about 10 years- really liked it until I got burned out. (I was state licensed and had a full load for about 12 hours a day). I quit when I had my youngest, and now am in school for my teaching license. Good for you! I think it's a great job to have!

Momof5 - I don't want to be state licensed. I went to a few trainings with the county to look into it months ago, and decided I didn't want the hassle. Lol, we're opposite... I burnt out from teaching. My days required more time doing paperwork then time with kids. It's my fault for doing special ed behavior unit, but oh my goodness I LOVE being home.
