i got the word today that IVF is my most likely hope. i have a small chance of getting pregnant with my right tube only. The left one is hopelessly entangled in scar tissue.

i am going through all the normal emotions i guess, i want to give my DH a baby, i'm scared it won't work (we have four rounds covered by insurance), i am worried about work.

i was already on the waiting list for january, so we get to start with the fresh new year. And the doctor says due to the specifics of my case i have a very very good chance of success. Still, what happned to the old fashioned way?

Please help me think + & pray for me,

jen

I wish you all the luck in the world. We're looking into doing an IUI in January (DH has less than 1% normal sperm). If that doesn't work after a couple of attempts we'll be on to IVF.

Good luck, you're in my thoughts and prayers.

In my heart of hearts, I think we'll be heading to IUI as well...DH has a low sperm count but good prognosis 5-14% range.

Hugs honey, you know I'm here for you.

I even have some nice IVF blinkies I've been saving. : D

I know it's tough to hear this and deal with it all, so feel free to vent if you need to. And with 4 covered rounds, you'll have your baby in no time. Besides, who wants an 'old fashined' beby anyway. lol. At least this one can never think that they weren't wanted, right?

Jen,

You will do amazingly well with IVF. I don't think you will even need to use the other 3 cycles covered by insurance! Maybe your hopes of twins will be a reality. Good luck with everything. I too am about to join the IVF bandwagon. Man secondary infertility sux! Hang in there~

Hey Jen :-)

As you know I am going to IVF very soon too - so YAY, IVF BUDDIES! :-) Seriously, I know it will work for you, and it's awesome your insurance covers 4 rounds (mine only covers 1)... Keep us (me) updated with when and all that and keep your chin up, it ABSOLUTELY will happen for you :-)

Jen - Lots of luck on IVF. I was also told we had very good odds with IVF, and at least so far, our BFP on IVF#1 seems to be sticking. I hope you have great luck too!
