Hi tiffany.

Are you taking your temps?
Try Fertilityfriend.com. Cause sometimes we believe to be oing in the middle of the cycle, but it doesn't happen like this most of the time. That's the best advice I can give you for now. If you do your temps every morning already, they have an online course with the basics that is really cool as a start.

Hope you get pg real soon.

Hugs Lua

If you are trying real hard, then don't just mark the calendar when you think you'll be Oing. In fact, it's really common for Ovulation to happen differently each month. You need to do more than just BD (baby dance...sex) when you think you will Ovulate.

To get to know your cycle and peak fertile days go to www.fertilityfriend.com

You should start taking temps the 1st day of your cycle. So When AF shows her ugly head.

You can check your cervical mucous. The mucous changes during the cycle. On peak fertile days it should have the appearance of egg whites. Otherwise known as EWCM. It can also be watery. On non fertile days, the mucous appears non existant or creamy.

You can also check your cervical position, texture, and if it's open. To do this, simply insert one or 2 fingers and find your cervix. When you are fertile, the cervix will be higher up in the vagina, it will be soft like your lips, and you should be able to feel an opening in the cervix. When you aren't fertile before O, the cervix will be firm like the tip of your nose. The hole will be closed, and it will be lower in the vagina.

You can also buy Ovulation Predictor kits (OPKs) and

When the temp drops you have either just ovulated or in the process. It's best to have swimmers there waiting for the egg. So FF says 4 days prior to O and the day after O just in case. That's the highest chance. You don't have to BD 4 days prior. Little swimmers can live up to 5 days in the uterus with fertile CM. The best I think to not wear DH out is 3 days leading up to O and the day after O. So 4 days total. The egg will only live about 24 hours without being fertilized. Some swimmers can take up to 6 hours to get trough to the fallopian tubes. So that's why they say get some swimmers there prior to O. Once you see the dip, then you will see a rise in temps if you have O'd. The sustained rise in temps

Your AF temps will be pretty low. The day of O, the temp will drop even lower. After O the temps will rise even higher than AF temps. The day before or day of AF, if you aren't preggo, the temps will drop down again.

It's best to BD 3 days prior to O, the day of O, and the day after O. If you think that's a problem than cut off one of the days before O for the best chances. So BD 2 days
