I was talking to my friend the other day, and she asked me how my weekend was.

OMG, I totally understand!!! I can not stand when people, esp my friends/family say that kinda stuff. I give them one time at saying something and then I let em have it and they usually don't say anything else along those lines. I know they think I'm being a huge B about it but I don't care because I think they are inconsiderate and insensitive about our frustrating TTC roller coaster ride. Hang in there, sorry people don't know when not to say annoying/rude things.

Sorry your friend was so insensitive, Jen. Sometimes people just don't understand. My friends seem to think the fact that I started taking a stained glass class and Taekwon-do this last fall is to "get my mind off of things". Uhm, why can't I just be taking classes because I want to? *grr* Sure, while I am in the class itself, I most often forget about baby stuff, but that is NOT my reason for these classes. Ugh!

Hang in there!

People who aren't TTC or who don't struggle with it don't get that every MINUTE you aren't pregnant is torture.

Great points Talia! There are only 2 people that know we are TTC. One of them had an extremely difficult time herself and was finally pg after 5 cycles of IVF, so she's a wonderful source of support who knows exactly what NOT to say. The other person, although well intentioned, stops by my desk regularly as says "sooooo, anything new?" I wish she didn't know.

very good points, Talia!!!

I myself made the mistake of telling almost everyone I know!!!! So yes, I hear that S**T on a daily basis!!!

Most people go with the 'just relax and it will happen' or 'God know what he'S doing'..but I even hear things like 'maybe you'll get it by the time you move to Canada'(1.5 yrs from now!!!!) or by Christmas or whatnot

Even my mom is being incredibly annoying saying things like that. She thinks it's super easy to get pg. My mother in law is pretty supportive. She doesn'T even ask or talk about it(she also used to get pg right away)

anyway, people are annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
