Spoke too soon?

So i found out this week i am pregnant, but of course, last night, on new years eve, i started spotting. I've had cramps for the past two weeks, which i was told was normal, but then the spotting came along last night and then i started to get worried. So i went to bed last night trying to stay calm telling myself i will just take a test in the AM. So this AM i took one when i woke up and it said not pregnant, i went back to bed for 4 more hours, woke up and took another one. This time it said pregnant. But i don't really feel pregnant anymore. I don't have sore breasts or don't feel very nauseous anymore. And of course my dr.'s office is closed all weekend! I haven't had anymore bleeding today, but it feels like i'm going to start my period soon. So all in all, it's been a crappy 2010 already =( On the bright side, it's a relief to know i CAN get pregnant! I left a message for the on-call dr. but i know all they are going to say is to wait it out since i am so early. Hope everyone else's 2010 is starting out great!

*hugs* Hang in there. As another poster said, don't give up hope just yet. I know my friend's pregnancy started out very rough with spotting, pain, cramps and the doctor telling her that it wasn't a viable pregnant. He even prescribed her the pills to help induce a miscarriage. Needless to say she has a beautiful 6 mo old little girl right now.

I wish you the best and hope that all works out. Take it easy and let us know what happens.

Thanks so much everyone for your kind words. I am bleeding now and have tons of AF like cramps. I didn't get my blood drawn when i talked to on-call doc, just decided to wait it out and get it drawn next week. I am bleeding way too much for it to be just spotting now. I know what is happening now, and will have my hcg drawn on monday to verify. Even though it didn't stick this time, i'm just so happy i got to see a BFP, at least i know our goods are working =) Thanks again, and i will keep you all posted.

Hang in there....
The same thing happened to me in Nov. I got BFPs for a whole week then started cramping and eventually bleeding, i was very sad but but deep inside i knew it was not meant to be. When i saw the Doc he said it happens alot!, like 2/3rds of pregnancies end in the first week some people don't even know they miscarried. Its your body's way or rejecting a pregnancy that is not 100% perfect. So don't feel too sad.. one of these days you will make a 100% perfect baby... "-)
