Surgery done now on the mend

Ok so I had my surgery on 4/3, the laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. My Dr also did an HSG while I was in which was nice since I didn't have to be awake for it. Well my Dr found and removed endometriosis stage 1 so it wasn't bad, I have a septate uterus and he removed some and cleaned up my uterine cavity so now I have a wide open space, he didn't remove it all though I'll get more of an explanation tomorrow at my follow up of why, I know it was fairly large initially. My tubes are clear and I am officially off BCP again ! I am hoping that at tomorrow's appointment we'll talk treatments and strategy. I'm definately sore and tired but happy that I seem to be moving forward.

Hi Josiane,

I'm glad that your surgery went well and hopefully you're having a speedy recovery!! I'm having the lap/hyst this coming Friday. Any words of advice for me?? How soon after the surgery were you up and around doing "normal" activities? Did you feel OK the day of the surgery? How about the day after? The reason I ask is that I'm supposed to take a car trip down to my parents house (about 12 hours away) the day after the surgery but my RE is advising against it. I didn't know if it was just "doc talk" or if I'm actually going to be feeling pretty rough.

Anyway...I hope everything was cleared up and you get that BFP SOON!!! Good luck!!
