No, I haven't had that happen, but I'm really curious to find out your results! Was your supposed AF different that normal then? Good luck! I hope this is it for you!

If you feel like you had a normal flow of a period, than it probably was that.

It is possible that you still had some HCG in your bloodstream - even if you were in process of m/c. The number would go down over some days... and it is probable that the test you took caught your levels as they were going down. That is why it should have been important to have taken that second test to see if the next one went up or down.

I really hope that you still are pregnant, but the odds are not the greatest.

(and to be honest, I wish the person you spoke to would have explained it to you - if you had positive hpts, that it was always probable that your first test would have had some level of HCG in it. It is the second test that was the important one - the first was only a baseline....

About me:

3 fantastic kiddos conceived with no probs in 1st or 2nd month of trying. We thought we were done, DH got the snip. Changed our minds in 2008, 4 cycles of IUI (no meds) using DH's frozen sperm - all BFN.

So, we are dealing with DH's frozen sperm, and my AMA (41 years old, we have no idea if that is a problem yet or not).

Starting IVF#1 - short protocol starting stims around May 1.
