Okay girls, maybe to those who have been on this ttc road longer can help me out. I'm going to do just a bit of venting if I may. Here is my deal. My Lovecat and I have the 5 kids and are ttc our last. This is only my first month ttc so it's new to me in many ways. That being said, have any of you become more irritated with your man during this process? Believe me, I love my guy but I have to say, I kind of want to beat him with my shoe lately, ya know? I don't know if it's because I feel so emotionally invested in this baby making stuff or if it

There are times I feel the same way about my DH. I think its just the stress and pressure, and they don't really know what we go through. They are just there for the fun part lol.

I am right there with you. I about threw something at Dh last night myself. AF just showed today and last night I was pretty sure she would so I wasn't in a good mood to start, then he didn't get home until an hour after the kids went to bed (again, not winning points for himself), then he started asking me questions about all this ttc stuff that someone his age who has two kids and is on the 4th round of ttc should know. "So, are you done with your cycle yet?" I asked him what he meant - wasn't sure if he was asking if I'd tested yet or if my period was over - he's asked me like 5 times in the 2ww when I would know and I told him the end of this week. He said he meant my period, then went on to complain that I had said we would know in 2 weeks and it's been a week and a half (gee, 2 weeks comes AFTER a week and a half). Finishing "my cycle" as he called is and testing for pregnancy are two totally different things. Obviously if I'd finished my period I'm NOT pregnant and he should know that. I probably could have been more patient with him but I got pretty cranky that as I've spent hours each day obsessing over every twinge, headache, backache, cramp, thousandth of a degree temp change, etc. that he doesn't yet understand the relationship between the period and being pregnant. Ugh!!! He asked me the other day if "the window was open again yet" - meaning was it time to start trying again? Good grief! If I haven't had a period yet, NO, it's not time. Don't I wish it was that easy - have sex, take a test a few days later, if it's negative, start trying immediately. I would love it if I wasn't constantly waiting either 2 weeks to ovulate or 2 weeks to test. MEN!

I don't mean to laugh but.......your post was so funny. I'm so glad it's not just me who feels annoyed with my guy. I know they mean well but it would just be so yummy if they ever managed to say the right thing AT the right time:) Oh, and when they work late.... Don't even get me started. I have to feed and clean up and tuck in all 5 by myself and they walk in like, so baby, what's up?? Ahhhhhh!!! So glad other women go through that too:) Oh, so sorry about Af showing her bitchy face. I will know in a week or so if my hag is coming. Good luck on the next cycle.
