Hello everyone. I am a long time lurker on the boards but have never posted before. I am trying to conceive my third, but it is my husbands 1st. I have 2 boys ages 9 and 11, so needless to say I am really hoping for my little girl. I am a little tired of being outnumbered (even the dog is male). It took a long time to convice my husband to try. He was sure he did not want any children especially since I already had 2 he was satisfied with that and had no urges to have any of his own. I have always wanted more so this was devistating to me. Anyway, I just had my 35th birthday and was feeling really down as 35 was the deadline I gave myself to have another child. DH new I was really having a hard time and admitted that he was worried he would regret not having his own. So he said"let's do it!"

That's cute that they talked you into it. My boys used to ask for a baby sister every year for christmas. I think too many years went by when they didn't get it that they stopped asking, but I never stopped hoping.

Me too, I thought I was done.

Not tracking too much. I have always been really regular, like clockwork actually, so identifying ovulation has actually been pretty easy. Just doing lot's of BDing and hoping. The waiting is the hardest part.
