Hello,
I'm new here and fairly new to TTC. My name is Rachel and I am 28. DH and I have been married 2 years today! We have been TTC since November. Its been frustrating because I just never knew how hard it could be. I just thought that when you wanted to have a baby, you had unproctected sex and... BOOM... a baby is made.... at least this is pretty much how it was explained to me back in Sex Ed. I actually tried to plan the month I would conceive... yeah, that didn't work out so well ;-)
I've used ovulation kits, and fertility monitors... I am going to start charting my BBT (I think that is the acronym for Basal Body Temprature) on my next cycle.
I feel like I am surounded by people with babies and I am the only one without. I am hoping to find some people to relate to here... sometimes I feel like my friends can get pregnant from just drinking milk :-)

You have defiantly found the right place! Everyone here is so supportive and informative. I've learned so much from all these wonderful ladies :) I hope you get your BFP soon but in the mean time we will enjoy getting to know you!

Hi Rachel. I can TOTALLY relate. I haven't been TTC as long yet but I also thought it was much easier. I mean with all these accidental pregancies, I thought getting prego was almost an automatic if you did it at the right time of the month. I feel like I wasted a lot of energy stressing over birth control all these years!
This board is great. I've been here for about a month and everyone is super suppportive and right there with you. Makes you feel less crazy. And for me, I haven't told my family or friends that I am TTC so it's been nice to have people to talk to. Hopefully you'll get your BFP (positive preg test) soon. We're here for ya!

@maddenfm - I am glad I read your post before I went into the office because I definitely laugh out loud. I concur about all the wasted time with birth control :smileyvery-happy:
So I know that BFP is a good thing and means you have a positive pregnancy test, but what do the letters stand for? The best I can come out with is... Birth Forecast is Positive.
LOL! Big Fat Positive! its takes a while to catch all the lingo =)
There's a list of all the acronyms somewhere on the site. After a while it just becomes second nature. Last week I actually referred to dh as "dear husband" when I was chatting with my gf lol!
