Welcome Jessica, I'm Sydney. I'm so sorry your TTC journey has been tough. All the women on this board are really supportive so it is a great place to be.

Hi :) yea it has been hard, but I'm really trying to be positive and relax, I know stress can really screw with the monthly cycle so I try to not get so worked up!

Hi Jessica! I know how hard it is not to get discouraged (after over a year of trying myself); but don't give up! There's only about a 25% chance of getting pregnant each month under normal circumstances, so when you think about it it really is quite a miracle that it happens at all! ...not that that's comforting, I know...

Are you temping, charting, or using OPK's? All of these things can be very helpful (but - warning! -

Welcome Jessica! You've found the right place. We're all really supportive & a little loony too! I agree that tracking your cycles is a great place to start. This is my 2nd month temping, opk'ing & charting. Everyones cycles are SO different so it's great to get in tune with your own body. Good luck & hope you get that bfp soon :)

Thanks Jean, yea I have talked to my OB and he always tells me to give it some time I think it may be some bad timing on our part, I do childcare during the day then my man goes to work at night so we try to fit intimacy in just whenever we can for now , until he goes back to day shift, things may be easier then. And hi Gemi! Yea I know chances of getting pregnant each month is not very high and I really am considering the whole charting and tracking thing, it just seems very confusing to me!

Charting & tracking can seem a bit overwhelming in the beginning bit once you get the hang of it it becomes 2nd nature. I use fertility friend & an app on my phone called p tracker. FF has little "online courses" to teach you about temping & recording stuff like cm (cervical mucus). If you can narrow down your fertile window you'll be able to time bd'ing & increase your chances.

Don't be shy! We're all here to help :)

Hi Jessica, welcome to the board! I'm sorry that your obgyn isn't being more supportive. Sometimes there are issues that time won't fix and it doesn't hurt to look it, you might want to consider asking for a referral to a reproductive endochronologist, or even see if they'll run some basic tests for you.

I know that charting can be overwhelming, if you think it will stress you out than there are other methods to track ovulation that you could try:

Just wanted to say thanks for all the replies girls! Thanks mel, yea I was wanting to look into seeing another doc, but I'm willing to give it a few more months...I did have a Hysterosalpingogram done to see if I had any scarring and I did not, I'm really hoping it is just bad timing!! Going to start doing the whole tracking thing and will give that a few months :) .
