Hello ladies! I'm a newbie to these boards & after lurking around for a bit & I've decided to take the plunge & join you! I'm a 30-something Canadian housewife, with an overly energetic 18 month old dd & a mostly wonderful hubbie.

I guess this is cycle#3 ttc - the first 2 we pretty much weren't preventing & no luck so i've done some research & that's how I came across these boards. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all but hopefully not getting to know you too well...we can save that for an expecting club!!

Welcome to the boards! I am from Canada too, I hope you're somewhere warmer than I am. I hope you enjoy your stay on this board, and I also wish you luck on moving on to the expecting clubs quickly!

Thanks for the welcome wishes :) hope we can all get outta here sooner rather than later!

Laura, where are you from? We live just outside of Vancouver so we're usually warmer than everywhere else in the country! I won't dare say we've had a chillier & longer winter than normal since you'd probably consider our coldest t shirt weather ;)

Hi Angela,

i was born and raised in Coquitlam, but I live in Winnipeg now. I really miss the weather there, but the people her are fantastic so it sort of makes up for it. I miss the scenery too. Oh and I can't forget White Spot! I was raised on that.

The wether there has been quite off for the past few years. I can't believe how much snow you guys have gotten, with the exception of the Olympics of course ;-)

With TTC we really are lucky here. we have so much more coverage than our 'sisters' to the south. I am going to an RE and all of my diagnostic is covered by medical.

Another BC girl! Yay! I love it here & don't think I could ever leave. If anything we'd leave the lower mainland & move up to the okanagan - gotta love wine country!! And you gotta love triple 'o' sauce!!! My dd had her first pirate pak last month :)

We are really lucky with our health coverage. I haven't checked to see what is covered by our extended health benefits but hopefully it doesn't come down to that...
