Thanks so much for your helpful info!
I checked out FertilityFriend and watched their 3 videos on charting- very educational to say the least.
Just wanted to say Hi and welcome! I don't have any incite into OPKs( I don't use them yet) or fertility treatments and I'm new to charting myself but fertility friend is VERY helpful to me. You have defiantly found the right place. All the ladies here are so supportive and listen so well. It will be nice getting to know you! Hope you get your BFP soon but in the mean time enjoy the company of people who understand completely what your going thru :smileyhappy:
You sound like I did when I jumped into the TTC boards the first time around! The abbreviations always freaked me out! I do not have PCOS but my BFF does, and pretty severely. They put her on metformin to bring down her A1C and she was more successful with the metformin on board. She now has four kids, two conceived with clomid/metformin, one IUI (intrauterine insemination) one from IVF, and is currently 16 weeks PG with twins (IVF). Getting a doc that has experience working with PCOS is key. I wish you the best of luck! I was TTC for two years, then had a miscarriage at 7 weeks, and then did lots of tests and got PG right after an HSG discovered scar tissue. I'm now TTC again, and my son is 16 months old.
