Im new here and new to ttc. Im 34 1/2 y/o. I have two children from previous relationships ages 14 yr and almost 5 yr both boys. I am an OR nurse. My SO of 4 years is 39. He has no children and is an awesome stepdad to my two boys. He is a wonderul man and we want a baby to complete our family. I had mirena removed in August of 2011. As i had no problems conceiving my two boys, i never thought i wouldnt be pregnant in a years time. Im pretty sure after some home testing that DH has a low sperm count. I have been charting and timing BD for last 6 mts with no luck. I now have us on supplements to see if that helps. Im just kind of lost here. And frustrated. Now im doubting my body as well.

That stinks that it is taking so long this time around, but unfortunately that seems to be the way it works....being a struggle for those that really want it.  I hope with the new things you are trying that you have success quickly! Sometimes the stress of it all prevents us from acheiving the BFP goal.  Good luck :smileyhappy:

Are you using FertilityFriend.com?  I use that site to aid in my charting as it predicts your ovulation date based on all the information you put in.  Maybe something like that would help you?  Or I guess you could always talk to your doctor and see what he/she says about your long cycles and the length of time you've been TTC?

I used OPKs for the first time this cycle and those are nice because I actually know when to expect ovulation BEFORE it occurs, rather than waiting for my temp to spike and missing ovulation.  Maybe try those to help you pin point when it's going to happen?

Just some suggestions....I'm certainly no expert :smileywink:
