Hi!  Been a long time since I've been "here".  And on Ivillage!  Im sure my siggy is way out of date ;)

But I'm off "the pill" due to it making met very depressed and always have to counter it with Prozac.  My husband wants another ... I'm not 100% sold, but know the chances are high uit will happy.  I am 43 and he is 48, both in GREAt health ... but Im heading towards menopause ... and being off the pill will also allow the GYN to know if I am,  Yam different story than most, Im sure.

We have two kids getting ready to have birthday's in August.  Ian is 11 and Bailey is 8.  I also homeschool ... mine went to school until about three years ago and I was teaching there and as disgusted with the whole education system and what goes on in schools so I quit and teach them myself - plus I figure if I have a degree in Education there was no reason for them to go to school.  Ian is going to to 7th but does mostly a year ahead work and Bailey is supposed to go in to 4th but I'm putting her in 5th ... I also work FT at home for a large Amusement Park in FL.  I will be teaching Kindergarten and 5th through Freedom Project Education (fpeuse.org) this fall virtually ... so a lot on my plate.

We are are not actively trying ... but I think we just might start to be!

Hi Yvonne, it's nice to meet you! Are you going to avoid when you are ovulating or just seeing what happens? It sounds like you like to keep busy. I don't blame you for homeschooling your kids, think it's a great decision when you have your teaching degree. I have a friend that made that same choice.

Thank you for the welcome.  I think we are going to see what happens.  After a few days of thinking about it ... Im on board.  I used to think we were done.  But the more I think about it ... I really want one more.  Maybe because my kids are older and I have the time to devote to a baby.  I dont really like the baby stage ... but love babies in general.  I know my soon to be 9 year old will be ecstatic.  I owned a large day care outside the home (had her 10 days after we bought it) and she was a great help in our infant roon.  We sold it last year so I could stay at home FT and concentrate on the kids education.  So - yeh!  I'm TTC!
