Hi everyone, I am very excited to have found this board. I have really been on an emotional roller coaster. My hubby and I have a little girl who just turned 3. My first pregnancy was quick to conceive, easy easy pregnancy, the bigger I got the happier I was and a very fast (precipitous) and easy labor. Wanted to wait a little while to conceive again as my husband is back in school and I wanted to wait until he was close to done. So we have been ttc for 8 months. This is month 9 and I am on CD 26. AF can be anywhere from 25-30 days. So I really have no idea when to get excited. I guess by tuesday. I have been so absolutely crushed each of the last

Welcome. I'm glad you found the board b/c many of us understand that frustration and emotional rollercoaster of TTC month after month. It can be very hard to go through, especially if you dont have anyone to talk to. I know

Hi KellyC!

I am here TTC #4, my three previous babies were super easy to conceive as well, and I am worried that it won't be as easy this time around. Not only am I older than I was then (but still only 32!) I am coming off having an IUD in for 6 years and my cycle has been all over the place going on three months of having it out now.

It's great that you have a line of communication open with your Dr. and he/she is right that you can't let nature take its course still, but I'm glad you have brought it up and if one year and no pregnancy DOES come, you will be ready to remedy the issue right away! *Little* things can be off in your body that you don't even know would make a difference and with just a test or two and one little fix your Dr. could have you well on your way to baby making!!!

I hope you have a BF waiting on you the next couple days and don't even have to think about that one year mark!!!

Hi there!

I'm a first time TTCer with PCOS and I'm on Clomid right now, using the Clearblue Easy digital opk. That opk is SOOOOOOOOOO (a million o's) much easier than the other ones I was using. It lets you know exactly WHEN to bd, which would be easier to 'schedule'. This test is more expensive, but worth it for the piece of mind! We've been trying for 8 months as well, and I can certainly understand the disappointment and emotional roller coaster every month. My hubby too says it's all in due time. That doesn't alieve my worries or my sadness.

Good luck!!!

Alison
