*Hello everyone,

We are trying to conceive our fourth child. We have three beautiful children 16, 9, and 2. We have been TTC for the last 14 months. AF was due Nov. 21, I have tested four times and they have all been negative. I went to the doctor Friday and they drew some blood but we wont know until Monday. I am having several symptoms breast tenderness, nausea, enhanced sense of smell. I dont know what to think. I have never been late unless I was pregnant. I am so confused any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.-*

Welcome to the board! I was wondering how the results went with your blood test?

I am not sure at this point. I got the impression that her assistant didnt understand that I was over 2 weeks late and just thought that I wanted the test.

That could be, you could try calling them again and explaining.

I did call back right after I replied to your last post and she said that she would give the chart back to the doctor with a note attached stated that I needed to know what to do next since my cycle was so late and she would give me a call back.

*hug*

How frustrating this must be for you all right. I agree, I'd keep calling or set up an appointment to go in and chat with your doctor.

I also wanted to let you know that we're TTCing for our fourth baby as well, and our kids are around the same age. I have a 17, 8, and 20 month old.

I hope you find some answers soon!

I spoke with the doctor and she says that it is not uncommon for periods to be irregular(I have been regular since I started 24 yrs ago) she thinks that maybe its stress or some type of hormonal imbalance. I think she full of it. I am not under any stress that I havent been under for the last eight to ten months so why now. If anyone can offer any assistance please feel free.

It sounds like she's missing the point that you have been trying for over a year and a hormonal imbalance could have some effects on that.
