1st Soy Isoflavones Cycle.

I am experimenting with Soy this cycle to try and shorten my cycle. I am hoping to get my cycles down to 28 days or less since I have to wait until I get my next AF to go for my hysterosonogram between cd8 and O so I want O to come earlier than it normally does. I was Oing between cd23 and cd25 so we're hoping for like cd12-cd14. So I'm taking 120mg and I started on cd5 and will go until cd9. Anyone looking to try this I would definately take them before bed lol. They give me hot flashes lol, I woke up the first night drenched in sweat. The second night I didn't have it so I don't know if it was just introducing it that gave me the hot flashes or if I will get them again. On a plus side they don't seem to be messing with my temps to much since they aren't any higher than before I started taking the soy

very interesting. thank you! :) I actually think I am going to buy a bottle after work...I'm on cd6....do you think its too late to start?? and just do a 6-11 day regimen?? I O'd last cycle at around cd29-30, but my 1st cycle off BCP, I O'd at cd19. I would absolutely LOVE to O sooner than cd19!! :)

There are women on the soulcysters forum who take the soy at cd26 and beyond if they haven't already O'd. I would say go for it but it is ultimately up to you to decide to do it or not. I was a little apprehensive about trying it at first also but I figured what the heck if it did't work or help then it would oly be one cyce and I could try something else next. I would however advise to take it at night right before bed. I have had some headaches, hot flashes like woke up drenched, and some nausea but taking it at night allows me to sleep through most of it. Best of luck to you !

well ladies, I just got back from the store and I bought some Soy Isoflavone pills!!! :) YAY!! I also *caved* and bought some OPK's. They didn't work, or at least I think they didnt work for me on my 1st cycle, so I decided to give them another try. Especially after looking at the opk pics on FF, where ladies showed days and days worth of their opk's showing how the test line continues to get darker and darker as the days go by....so I probably was really close to getting a strong + opk, but stopped POAS before I got it...lol.
