6 dpo and flu shot?

I was at the store and they had a flu clinic so I got the shot. It didn't occur to me that at 6 dpo I could be pregnant. Do you think that I have anything to worry about? I got it because I know that it's recommended for pregnant women, and I'm hoping to be one of them soon!

no, it won't have any effect on you...the flu shot is not a live virus so you are ok

It is recommended for pregnant women, so you should be just fine!

I got my flu shot yesterday too, but I am definitely not pregnant.

Still, studies have shown that babies born to women who received the flu shot during pregnancy are protected during the first 6 months of live (before they are old enough to get the flu shot themselves) because they get antibodies in utero. Getting the shot immediately before pregnancy is thought to have a similar effect.

I hope this cycle is the one for you!
